| Every so often we host 'get-togethers' where
everyone is invited to contribute something around a theme. The
important thing is that space is given for everyone's voice to be heard
but anyone who would rather come and listen is equally welcome.
We call our winter gathering 'Winter Blooms'
Here is the blurb from previous invites:
"As winter unfurls its frosty fingers and beckons us indoors
everyone is warmly invited to join us for a community gathering to share
seasonal stories, songs, poems, paintings, a piece of music or anything that
represents the theme for you"
Previous themes have been:
In 2004 the theme was ‘Windows and Openings’, literal
metaphorical or symbolic!
In 2003 we pushed the boat out and hosted four evenings,
all on different themes

Fri 12 Dec: Thresholds and Starlight
Fri 19 Dec: Birth
and Gifts
The evenings take place in our Yurt (complete with wood-burner
- very cozy!) and are sprinkled with pieces
prepared by artists, performers and storytellers.
Hot toddies & mulled drinks are provided.
